This park and zoo have been part of the Halloween scene for about 17 years and is definitely loaded with trick or treat activities in San Jose. This year, there will be an overnight event scheduled on the weekends of October starting from 6 pm until 10 am the next day. There will be trick-or-treating stations, Halloween-themed activities, games, and live but guided animal encounters. Kids must be accompanied by parents all the time.

The overnight event includes a breakfast set for the joiners. Participants are allowed to bring their own tents if they decide to camp in at the Crooked House Meadow. They may also sleep indoors inside the Learning Lodge classroom. For the scheduled dates it is best to contact the organizers or visit their website.

Families are invited to join a spooky and magical night of egg hunting and a lot of trick or treat activities in San Jose for kids. All participants are encouraged to dress-up in fancy or scary costumes while enjoying arts and crafts, face painting, and the trick-or-treat festivities. Egg hunting activities will be categorized per age group. A minimal fee of $10.00 will be collected for residents and $13.00 for visitors/non-residents upon registration.

Don’t forget to bring your flashlights! Children must be registered and have a colored wrist band for this event to participate. Wristbands will be handed out in check-in table.

This 2-day Fall-themed event in West San Jose area is surely something you wouldn’t want to miss! This year, the event is scheduled to happen between 12 pm to 4 pm on October 26th and October 27th. They have an interactive and animated website with a list of trick or treat activities in San Jose.

Winchester Mystery House is loaded with a lot of mysterious activities to explore and appreciate. This mystery house is also considered as a historical landmark and eventually became a popular tourist destination in San Jose, CA. The family of the late Sarah Lockwood Pardee Winchester, an heiress who was believed to be cursed, originally resided in this wonderful mansion. This annual activity is admission free.

The kids are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes or fancy characters.

Trunk-or-Treat is admission free and a wholesome family event organized by Seven Trees Community Center. Instead of the normal basket of goodies, car trunks would be used to give and receive goodies as part of San Jose kids activities. Each participating family will park their car in the community center and should have the trunk of their car designed with a kid-friendly theme.

For this 3rd annual trunk-or-treat event, they also designed a haunted hallway. Another visual treat and one of the fun things to do in San Jose for kids.
